About Alyssa

A bookworm, movie lover, and all around creative and imaginative person, I have always known writing was in my blood. What started as stories based off of my Barbie dolls soon grew into poems made from raging teenage hormones, and eventually made its way into an honest, yet stubborn, creative writer.

I explored my writing abilities and experimented with many genres throughout my college career. While many friends would swear my strong suit comes from my constant correction of grammar, I know in my heart my writing was meant for the screen.

What I once thought as simply bonding with my mother by reading novels and then watching the movie adaptations really turned in to my dream career. Although scriptwriting is time-consuming and requires intense focus, I can’t think of anything that makes me happier than picturing my words come alive onscreen. I am someone who speaks her mind, has a strong opinion, and goes after her dreams. With all of this combined, my stories and future films might be brutally honest, but will convey all sorts of emotions.
